Stories. Systems. Music. A party figuring things out together. These are some of the things that capture my attention—and my heart.
I love games that ask us to notice each other, find our roles, and create something together. Final Fantasy XIV, Adventures of Cookies & Cream, and Overcooked 2 each invite a different kind of coordination. Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure and Fire Emblem: Three Houses bring music, relationships, and story into the mix.
These are personal touchstones, not prerequisites for therapy. You don’t need to know any of these games to join the conversation.
IN DEVELOPMENT
I’m developing a game that explores psychological and socioemotional themes. The design draws inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons and Daggerheart, the dungeon structure of The Legend of Zelda, and video-game mechanics, alongside learning and playing music.
I’m also exploring AI augmentation where it meaningfully supports the experience. The question is always: what does this add to our collaboration?
The creative adventure group is not currently running. This project is in development; it is not an available treatment program or a clinically validated intervention.
Jungian psychology is an important part of my clinical and creative interests. My recent training includes a ten-month clinical program at the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles.
Music and play can be part of creative exploration. I do not present this work as credentialed music therapy or play therapy.
Tank. Healer. DPS. Different roles, shared goals. I’m exploring this as a way to talk about executive function as a system of collaboration, rather than expecting one part of us to do everything.
