Anxiety & perfectionism
Explore worry, self-criticism, and the pressure to be productive or get things right. We can look at what these patterns do for you, what they cost, and how you want to respond.
THERAPY AT GAME THERAPY LA
Individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, shaped around your concerns, values, and ways of thinking.
Explore worry, self-criticism, and the pressure to be productive or get things right. We can look at what these patterns do for you, what they cost, and how you want to respond.
Bring the overwhelm, masking, or executive-function difficulties that affect your day. Therapy can help you understand your experience and explore practical strategies without treating your differences as character flaws.
Make space for low mood, uncertainty, changing roles, and questions about who you are. You don’t need a polished explanation of your experience before we can talk about it.
Conversation and reflection are central. Skills practice, values exploration, narrative exercises, or optional creative tools may support the work. We decide together what fits; games are never a requirement.
Telehealth is available for adults and adolescents located in California or Texas. In-person sessions are also available for clients nearby in the Los Angeles area, at Olida Therapy Suites in Sawtelle or Santa Monica.
BY APPOINTMENT
1849 Sawtelle Blvd, Suite 610
Los Angeles, CA 90025
We’ll confirm the office and arrival details together before your visit. In-person sessions are by appointment, subject to scheduling and office availability.
PRIVATE PAY
Private rates are $200/hour for both intake and follow-up/progress sessions.
I’m accepting new clients. Sessions last approximately 55–60 minutes. My usual working hours are Monday–Friday, around 9 am–6:30 pm Pacific Time, with the last session starting at 5:30 pm. Appointment times depend on current availability.
We’ll coordinate by email, then use Alma for intake paperwork, payment, and an insurance eligibility check when needed. Insurance eligibility and coverage are confirmed individually.
A cancellation or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a missed session, carries a $100 fee unless there is a true emergency.
If we can reschedule and meet later that same week, the fee is waived. This depends on my availability; a replacement appointment is not guaranteed, and requesting one does not automatically waive the fee.
If late cancellations or reschedules become a pattern—for example, twice within a month—we’ll talk together about what is getting in the way and what support or changes might help therapy fit your life.
